DoMundo

Portuguese, meaning “from (or of) the world.” An homage to its origination in Lisbon, Portugal. All works are derivatives of photographs taken at various locations during a seven-year span traveling the globe.

DoMundo looks to blur the lines between photography, fine art, and digital craftsmanship. Where does one end and the other begin? How can they interact? Does the source photograph’s essence remain after abstraction? Are they, by nature, forever linked in an ongoing evolution of creativity?

What starts as an observation of the world, captured through photography, continues still… taking a new form to be observed and reinterpreted by others.
